The meala story
Back in 2022, three food lovers - Hadar, Tali, and Liran - teamed up due to a shared frustration: how can we create food that is clean, highly functional and scalable, while not compromising on taste and texture?
Hadar, a product development expert, Tali, a strategist and serial entrepreneur, and Liran, a culinary chef, kept running into the same challenge: endless ingredients and complicated labels. That’s how the idea for Meala was born.
Their mission? To blend product innovation, biotechnology, and smart business sense into a platform technology: a single clean-label ingredient that transforms food at scale and offers a platform for culinary creativity and innovation across the entire food industry.
Since then, Meala has evolved into a talented, multidisciplinary team of experts spanning chemistry, biology, culinary arts, and more — bringing decades of experience and fostering the kind of flexible thinking that drives real innovation.
